Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) announced result for HSLC (class 10) and HSSLC (class 12) exams on May 31. The Class 12 board exams in Nagaland concluded in March and class 10 board exams concluded in February. The board released the result online. The Nagaland Board exam results were delayed this year due to the coronavirus crisis. After releasing the result, Nagaland Board will issue result documents to students in June, also while observing the health protocols. The board is expected to announce the result by late afternoon.

May 30, 4 pm: The Board may or may not decide to conduct compartmental exam depending on the prevalent situation. Any decision regarding the compartmental exam will be communicated through the board’s official website.
May 30, 3.30 pm: Abhi Chakraborty of Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, has topped Nagaland Board HSLC results, or Class 10, with 590 or 98.33 per cent marks.
May 30, 3 pm: In Commerce stream, Iccha Upadhyay of Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, has topped NBSE 12th exam. In Science stream, Anushka Bhattacharjee of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, has topped the exam with 95.20 per cent marks. Chumliba R of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Kiphire, has topped Arts stream with 460 marks or 92 per cent.
May 30, 2.30 pm: Pass percentage of girls in class 10 is 70.88% and boys is 69.04%. In class 12 exams, 68.99% boys qualified in Commerce stream, 83.61% girls qualified in commerce stream. 65.65% boyas have passed in Arts stream and 77.27% girls have passed in arts stream. And finally, 75.07% boys, and 87.06% girls passed in Science stream.
May 30, 2.15 pm: 73.725 per cent students have passed in NBSE HSSLC exam, and 70.02 per cent students have passed in NBSE HSLC exam.

May 30, 11.45 am: NBSE result certificate will be issued by the schools after June 5. “In view of the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic and in order to maintain social distancing the Board will issue the documents to the Centre Superintendents only from June 5. The Centre Superintendents will collect and distribute to the schools coming under his/ her centre,” the NBSE has said.
